The ISW-504PT unit is compatible with the IEEE 802.3af standard and powers up to 4 PoE compliant devices. The maximum distance is 100 meters through a 4-pair Cat 5 / 5e UTP wire. Since data and Power over Ethernet are featured in this unit, the ISW-504PT cuts down costs by removing the need for additional wiring or installation. The unit features a single wire that carries data and power, which makes installation simpler than ever. In addition, the ISW-504P unit supports 24V DC or 48V DC dual voltages input and has the ability to offer a large range of industrial IEEE 802.3af PoE applications.

The unit features dual-redundant, reverse polarity power inputs in 24V DC or 48V DC. This allows for the operation of high availability applications that need stronger backup power inputs.

  The ISW-504PT features innovative switch technology and 5 10/100Mbps UTP ports. The unit showcases non-blocking switch fabric, wire-speed throughput up to 1Gbps, and a 2K MAC Address table. The unit also provides a wire-speed transfer of packets without a risk of packet loss. The unit's Flow Control function is set to provide fast and reliable data transfer at default. All RJ-45 copper interfaces on the unit support 10/100Mbps Auto-Negotiation for a state-of-the-art detection of speed. These interfaces operate through RJ-45 Category 3, 4, 5, 5e or 6 cables. The standard Auto-MDI/MDI-X support detects the type of connection to Ethernet devices without requiring specialty cables.
