As a result, security functions are integrated into the entire server lifecycle, starting with HPE's Silicon Root of Trust. Before the server operating system is started, millions of lines of firmware code are executed. With Runtime Firmware Verification, provided via the optional HPE iLO Advanced Premium Security Edition, server firmware is verified every 24 hours. This verifies the validity and trustworthiness of important system firmware. Secure Recovery enables the server firmware to be rolled back to the last error-free status or the factory settings after the compromised server has been detected.
