• Serial port expansion
  The Null Modem USB Serial Adapter adds an RS-232 serial DB/DE-9 (female) connector to a desktop or laptop via a USB Type-A port. Secure the adapter to a serial device, using pre-installed and removable slotted D-Sub thumbscrews or install the included DB-9 Nuts for compatibility with other serial peripheral devices or cables.
• LED indicators
  Data transmission and reception LED indicators on the adapter provide real-time monitoring of port activity. The USB LED indicates when the adapter has successfully enumerated on the desktop or laptop. All the LEDs aid with diagnostics and troubleshooting.
• Seamless connectivity
  The adapter is compatible with Windows, macOS, ChromeOS, and Linux. Drivers automatically install to Windows 7 and newer versions, macOS 10.15 and above, and Linux. The USB to RS-232 adapter features COM retention, which automatically reassigns the COM port value if the cable is disconnected and reconnected, or if the system is rebooted.
